Bryce Fiedler
CALN Director, CALN Founding Member, & CALN Board of Directors Secretary
Bryce is the founding director of Carolinas Academic Leadership Network (CALN). He is responsible for managing CALN’s day-to-day operations and educational services, ensuring it provides first-in-class resources and professional development to school board members in North and South Carolina.
Prior to joining CALN as director, Bryce served as the senior policy analyst at the South Carolina Policy Council and led its research department for several years. During his tenure at the Policy Council, Bryce would help to form CALN in 2023 and is one of its original founding members.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Bryce attended the University of Central Florida and received a bachelor’s degree in political science. As an undergraduate, he first gained policy experience through internships at the federal, state, and local levels, including an internship program at the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.
His written works have been published in various news outlets including the Charlotte Observer, Yahoo News, Carolina Journal, and the Post and Courier. He has also made television appearances on local networks including WIS 10 and WMBF.
