Code of Conduc⁠t⁠

CALN is committed to maintaining a respectful, constructive, and mission-aligned community. As such, it reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate an individual’s Board Champions membership for any reason subject to applicable law, including but not limited to the following conduct: 

  1. Disruptive behavior during CALN-sponsored events or programs. 
  1. Harassment or personal attacks against other members or participants. 
  1. Misuse of CALN services in a way that undermines the organization’s mission or harms members. 
  1. Public defamation of CALN or its members through false or damaging statements. 
  1. Other conduct considered to undermine a respectful, constructive, and mission-aligned community. 

This code of conduct is intended to provide guidance regarding the expected standards of behavior. The interpretation and application of this code of conduct shall be determined solely by CALN. CALN reserves the exclusive right to determine whether any conduct constitutes a violation and to take such action as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion. All such determinations shall be final and not subject to appeal.  

The benefits associated with membership in the Board Champions program are provided at the discretion of CALN and are subject to modification, enhancement, reduction, or elimination at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. Membership does not entitle any individual to vested or guaranteed benefits, and continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any such changes as they may occur.
