This event comes as North Carolina is required through the new budget to formally study open enrollment, gather information from school districts, and potentially consider legislation next year to enact it statewide. School board members and district leaders are encouraged to attend to hear how fellow states and communities have implemented open enrollment and the lessons they’ve learned.
