Team CALN

As the Carolinas recover from the devastation of Hurricane Helene, we know that many friends, neighbors, and loved ones are still without power and internet access, or even more critical needs such as clean water.

Additionally, several Upstate SC counties have extended school closures through the mid-week, while many counties in Western NC have announced school closures lasting longer, if not indefinitely.

For those who are able to safely travel, CALN has compiled a list of open public libraries in some of the most affected counties, where you can access the internet, or at the very least, power.

Libraries in the hardest-hit counties, especially those in Western NC, remain closed as communities work to rebuild and recover. Some may re-open later this week, but others will take much longer.

If you would like to support those in need, you can find a list of organizations involved in the ongoing relief effort here and here.
